These tambour key-wound mantel clocks, 630-200 Barrett by Howard Miller, feature decorative egg-and-dart molding that wraps around the base, and rare olive ash burl overlays accenting the front.

Finished in Windsor Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers.

An arched glass top allows a view of the intricate solid brass clock movement.  Indeed, our staff loves the view of the movement from the glass top.

Dial features applied Arabic numerals and chapter ring with a polished brass finish.

Four brass finished feet support the clock.

Key-wound, Westminster chime German Kieninger movement plays 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour.  We've written an article on clock chimes for more interesting information and history on this wonderful chime.   

These key-wound mechanical mantel clocks are wound with the provided key once a week.  The middle winding arbor winds a spring that powers the time function.  The right winding arbor (as you face the clock) winds the spring that powers the quarter-chime function.  Lastly, the left winding arbor winds the spring that powers the hour strikes.  We've written an article on how clocks work for some more interesting information.
