Authorized Clock Service Center
As an authorized service center for some of the leading manufacturers of clocks in the world, Gift of Time is authorized to service many warranties at the manufacturer's elect. Specifically, our clock shop's authorization is for the service of many Howard Miller, Sligh and Ridgeway clock warranties that were purchased from us and those in our local area at the manufacturer's elect or the process of those warranties for those that cannot be serviced or repaired, such as some quartz clocks. Indeed, some quartz, battery-operated, clocks sold cannot be repaired or serviced. Please contact them or us for details. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required for warranty service. Purchasers and clock gift recipients should save all original packing material, boxes, paperwork and packing slip invoices.
Howard Miller, Ridgeway, Kieninger, and Comitti mechanical clocks come with a two-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Cuckoo clocks also come with a two-year distributor's limited warranty. All other Ridgeway, Howard Miller, Seth Thomas, Bey-Berk and Comitti clocks, come with a one-year warranty. Kieninger, Sternreiter, Alma Klokken, K. Mozer, Hubert Herr, Hekas, Timeworks and Rombach and Haas clocks come with a two-year warranty. Hermle clocks come with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
All warranties are offered by the respective manufacturer or their North American distributors only and are limited and may be voided or extinguished by the manufacturers if the dealer it is bought from purchased the clock three years ago or more. Generally, warranties are only extended to original purchaser, or recipient if it's clock gift. Please contact us, manufacture or distributor for specific details or copies of particular warranties prior to purchase, which should also be included with the clock.
Defects in any clock must be processed under the respective manufacturer's/distributors warranty, which may include and require the customer taking the clock to service representatives in their state and picking it back up after service at their cost or sending the clock back to us or the manufacturer/distributor with adequate insurance (shipping damage will nullify warranty and refund).
Our service center also offers clock repair for the general public. Indeed, our horologists can service nearly every type and brand of mechanical clock, including antique clocks. We also make house calls for mechanical grandfather clocks in our local area. Please contact us for our rates.
